Contracts

Sign Quotes with Your Own Terms — Not Ours

Drop your termination clause, warranty, and payment terms into any quote. Customers read and agree before they sign — and the exact text is locked in for the record. No DocuSign account, no separate contract module.

Custom terms on quotes — included on the free Starter plan.

How It Works

Three steps from typing your terms to a snapshotted signed record.

1

Write Your Terms

Add a Terms & Conditions block to any quote — or save your boilerplate once on Professional Plus and have it auto-fill on every new quote going forward.

2

Customer Reviews + Signs

Your terms appear in the email and on the public quote page directly above the signature pad, with a clear "By signing, you agree" line. The customer reads, signs, and submits.

3

Terms Locked at Signature

At the moment of signing, GreenRoute snapshots the exact terms text. Future edits to the quote can't alter what the customer legally agreed to — an audit-defensible record without extra work.

Built for the Way Small Businesses Actually Sign Contracts

The legal language that closes HOA, commercial, and residential deals — without a separate contract product.

Your Language, Per Quote

Free-text Terms & Conditions on every quote. Termination clauses, warranties, payment terms, scope limits, weather and access exceptions — whatever your business needs.

Saved Boilerplate (Pro+)

Set your standard terms once in Settings. Every new quote pre-fills with that boilerplate so you never re-type it — and you can still override or tweak per quote.

Terms in the Email + on the Page

Customers see the terms when the quote arrives in their inbox AND again on the public quote page above the signature pad. No surprises, no separate document to chase.

Snapshot at Signature

The terms the customer agreed to are frozen at the moment they sign. Edit the quote later? The signed record stays put. Audit-defensible without an extra system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I put my own contract terms on every quote?
Yes. Every plan including the free Starter plan lets you add a custom Terms & Conditions block to any quote — termination clauses, warranties, payment terms, anything you need. The customer sees them in the email and on the public quote page above the signature line.
Will my customer have to agree to the terms before signing?
When you fill in terms on a quote, the public page shows a clear "By signing this quote, you agree to the terms above" notice next to the signature pad. The customer reads the terms, then signs. If you leave the terms field empty, no terms block appears at all — the signing flow stays simple.
What if I edit the quote after the customer signs?
GreenRoute snapshots the exact terms text at the moment of signature into a separate AcceptedTerms field. Edits to the quote's live Terms field after that don't change what the customer legally agreed to — the signed record is preserved.
Can I save my standard terms so they auto-fill on every new quote?
Yes — that's a Professional Plus feature. Set your boilerplate once in Settings → Company → Default Quote Terms, and every new quote will pre-fill with that text. You can still override or edit per quote.
Is this a full contract management system like DocuSign?
No. GreenRoute treats a signed quote as the contract, with custom terms and snapshot-on-signature for everyday small-business use. We don't do template versioning, amendments, or notarized e-signing. For routine HOA, residential, and small-commercial contracts, the snapshot record is sufficient.
